FROM CONFUSION TO CONFIDENCE: JUNE 2026 NEWSLETTER
Welcome to your monthly check-in with yourself. I'm here to offer guidance that could transform how you approach exercise-the missing piece in many programs. We'll tap into the feelings, nuances, and subtleties within resistance training. Each month, I'll share tips and inspiration to shift your perspective-helping you build a sustainable, consistent program.
“Knowing how your target muscles function
How to ground and center yourself
How leverage shapes movement”
I'm sure you've heard the old proverb about giving a man a fish or teaching him to fish. Many fitness programs claim to teach you, but often, they just hand you a fish—and you might not even know if it's the right one for you. My goal is different: I'm not just giving you a program (unless that's truly all you need). You're here because you want to understand. Understanding begins with feeling. When you can tap into this awareness you'll better understand how your target muscles function, how to ground and center yourself, and how leverage shapes movement. These are the keys to mastering your body.
When you master these elements, you can evaluate any program with a discerning eye. You'll quickly know what fits your unique needs—no more wasting time or money on expensive routines or gurus who assume what works for them will work for you. I'm not interested in
"best" or "always" solutions. I'm interested in your truth—and that can only be unearthed through self-knowledge.
In fact, when you embody this understanding, it extends beyond the gym. Strength training taught me that I'm responsible for my experience. This mindset is vital when dealing with injury or collaborating with doctors or therapists. When you know your body deeply, you reduce dependency on external fixes. It might feel daunting at first to rely on yourself, but that's the maturation process.
And once you embrace it, you gain the freedom to shape your journey with confidence.
“Our perspective shifts as we begin to view resistance as assistance because it helps ground us.”
